The members of Lake Street Dive put on a very interesting workshop where they each member of the band presented a song that they had written. The band performed it and then explained the transformations that the song went through in writing and music, i.e., the first bass line we used in this song was..., and then it morphed to...; or the reasons for the subject choices in the verses, etc.
